A small workshop, a long view of time.
Goldenwood is a family-owned and family-run furniture and joinery workshop in Wetherill Park, Sydney, building custom timber pieces since 1988. Cindy owns the business and David runs it, and both are still on the floor with the makers every day.
A family workshop in Wetherill Park.
One workshop, in Wetherill Park, that has grown with the work: bespoke furniture, full home and kitchen joinery, and fit-outs for apartments and offices, with CNC machining alongside the hand benches.
Everyone who works here is on the floor. Each piece is made in our own workshop and checked before it leaves.

Six steps,
from sketch to install.
The same workflow on every project — coordinated by a single project lead, from the first conversation in your home to the moment a piece is set down in your room.
Consult
We meet at your home or in our Wetherill Park workshop, talk through the brief, walk the room, and pull a tray of timber samples and finishes.
Design
We measure, draw, and build immersive 3D visuals so every proportion is settled before the first cut. Two design rounds are included.
Quote
Itemised pricing is locked at sign-off. Shop drawings and a production schedule align our floor with any trades on site.
Crafting
Your piece is built from start to finish by a single maker in our Sydney workshop. We send progress photos at each major stage.
Inspect
Two checkpoints — one before finishing for structure, one after for the final surface — so nothing leaves the floor unless we'd keep it ourselves.
Install
Our crew delivers and installs across Sydney. The piece is covered by a 10-year craftsmanship warranty and lifetime hardware.
