Many of Goldenwood's bedside tables share a name with a bed and are made in the same timber, so the bedside matches the bed it stands beside. Nothing about one is fixed: the height, the drawers, the timber and the finish are all customised to your brief.
Which bedside tables are in the collection?
Drawer bedsides, rounded, framed and plain. The Freycinet is softly rounded, with radiused corners and three deep drawers over a low shadowline plinth. The Tathra has two handleless drawers on a recessed plinth, and the Moruya stacks handleless drawers between framed sides. The Merimbula sets a drawer on an X-frame base with sled feet, the Eden is a low bedside with a bar pull on block feet, and the Belmont carries a studded round metal detail.
Most are Tasmanian Oak, and the Ellington Classic Bed Side is American Oak; each timber has its own page, linked below. The Merimbula, Eden and Moruya are made in the timber you choose.
Will a timber bedside table match my bed?
It can, when both come from one design. The Wellington Bed Side belongs with the Wellington Bed, the Ellington Classic Bed Side with the Ellington Classic Bed, and the Stirling, Arden, Langford, Charleston, Estelle, Vera, Belmont and Camille follow the same pattern. Order the bed and its bedsides in one timber and the set matches from the start. The Freycinet has no bed of its own and sits as easily beside an upholstered bed as a timber one.

How many drawers can a bedside have?
The designs show one, two or three, and the layout you need goes into the drawing. The Merimbula and the Eden each have a single drawer and the Tathra has two. The Freycinet has three fingerless soft-close drawers on full-extension runners, in a Tasmanian Oak case under a 25–28 mm solid top. Runners are guaranteed for the working life of the piece.
How long do bedside tables take?
Most catalogue pieces, bedsides included, leave the workshop 8–14 weeks after the design is confirmed.

- Can I order the bedsides without the bed?
- Yes. Each bedside is a piece of its own, so a pair can be ordered alone, or with the tall boy or dresser of the same design where there is one; the Wellington has both.
- Can a bedside be made in a timber that isn't shown?
- Yes. Every timber on the materials page can be ordered in, and others can be sourced.
- Can I see the timbers before I order?
- Yes. Sample boards of each working timber and every finish are kept at the Wetherill Park showroom, or a small posted kit of chips and swatches can come to you.
- How do I care for the top?
- Wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth, stand glasses on coasters, and keep silicone sprays and household polish off the finish.
